Job Description:
- Providing care and support to adults and older people in their own homes
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting
- Preparing and serving meals
- Assisting with and administering prescribed medication in line with care plans and company policy
- Performing light housekeeping duties, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linen
- Assisting with the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning, and movement of clients
- Providing companionship and social support, including assistance with paying bills, collecting prescriptions, grocery shopping, and arranging appointments
- Observing, monitoring, and accurately recording clients’ physical and emotional wellbeing, and promptly reporting any changes to senior staff
- Communicating effectively with families, medical professionals, and other third parties when required
- Assessing, reporting, and recording incidents appropriately and in accordance with company procedures
